Court findings in first phase of Group Litigation

You may see news today about a legal judgment criticising Post Office Ltd in the High Court.

We are taking these criticisms very seriously. Postmasters and their teams are the backbone of the Post Office business, and our first priority will be to consider how we should respond to the points raised in the judgment

This judgment is part of a legal case which has been underway since April 2016 and is scheduled to continue until at least March 2020. We will continue to keep you updated on any developments and the actions we are taking following this judgment.
