Postmasters recognised in IAA finals
Postmasters across the UK are delivering great customer service, and retail excellence every day and many are earning recognition for this at a national level.
13 retailers with a Post Office have got through to the final stage of the 2019 IAA (Independent Achievers’ Academy), a great achievement for these branches and the teams who run them.

What is the IAA?
Post Office has been involved with the Independent Achievers Academy (IAA) since 2013. It is a business development programme which enables motivated retailers to grow their sales and profits, by following expert advice, including Post Office guidance on great customer service.
Retailers benchmark themselves against 12 categories:
Marketing to Customers Customer Service Effective Ranging
Availability Shop Layout Merchandising
In-Store Display Responsible Retailing Staff Development
Service to the Community Digital Engagement Retail Innovation
The top four retailers in each category will be invited to the 2019 Local Shop Summit on 9 October 2019 at the Royal Institute of British Architects, an event focussed on sharing best practice and practical steps to improve a retailer’s business.
