There's an App for that
Post Office continues to embrace the digital world, constantly looking at improving the digital offering to consumers. Recently, we have added a new international payments app to our app portfolio – and early feedback is promising.
The app offers our customers a fee free way of moving money from a UK bank account, to an overseas bank account in a simple, secure and fast way. The service is typically aimed at those transferring larger amounts. The new mobile app allows customers more choice on how to move money around, with website and phonecall options still available.
Rob Scott, MoneyGram and IP Product Manager said: “This is a great new development for our international payment services and an example of how we are making things better for customers.
“The app is also available for new and existing customers whether for personal or business use which will allow us to attract a brand new customer type.
“Through the app, not only can people move money between accounts, but it can be used to pay a supplier, make a payment for overseas property, or send money to family or friends – all while on the move and in the comfort of their own hands.”
